The Nevada Census Committee works to ensure that Nevadans get federal resources and Congressional representation by encouraging the full participation of all Nevadans in Census 2020.
Project Details:
- Directed the UI/UX design and front-end development of the official Nevada 2020 Census platform, utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies to deliver milestones on a government deadline.
- Worked directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate state objectives, create interactive prototypes and build responsive web architectures.
- Built an accessible, ADA-compliant platform using WordPress, ensuring cross-browser compatibility across legacy and modern devices.
- Integrated comprehensive localization (Mandarin, Spanish, Tagalog) via Google Translate to maximize statewide census participation among diverse demographics.
- Engineered a secure, user-friendly CMS backend and implemented Google Analytics, allowing non-technical staff to monitor public engagement and manage content independently.
