Project Summary
The Nevada Department of Taxation supports the state Census Count Committee. I provided UI and web development for the Nevada 2020 Census website, providing information and resources for Nevadans completing the 2020 census questionnaire.
The site was decommissioned in October 2020.
Deliverables:
- Develop of a custom CMS platform to connect users with the 2020 census form, provide news, census events, locations and social media notifications;
- Communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to department stakeholders;
- Develop using the CAWeb Standards Divi theme framework;
- Meet with the department to gather and evaluate project goals and user requirements;
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes to demonstrate website layout and features;
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness);
- Apply Scrum methodology to ensure product deployments are made consistently and on schedule.
