Corporate Web Design and Cloud Services
OptiWeb consulted with a financial services company to develop their corporate website and optimize their technical infrastructure. The client’s goals were to develop a professional corporate website, secure important client documents on a cloud server, and reduce their monthly overhead expenses.
Optiweb developed a website for the Company that clearly represented the organization’s corporate objectives. The site is based in HTML, CSS and PHP.
Next, we migrated the data on the Company’s in-house server to a cloud drive and transitioned their email accounts to a hosted Microsoft exchange server. This dramatically improved the Company’s communication and collaboration ability, secured their vital data, and eliminated the need for their unreliable, 7-year-old PC server.
In addition, we installed a cloud-based internet phone service, which allowed the Company to efficiently scale their phone system to support off-site employees.
OptiWeb’s technical solutions reduced the Company’s overhead expenses by 75% per month.
Drupal to WordPress Website Transfer
OptiWeb consulted with a real estate investment group to replicate their existing Drupal website on a faster, scalable platform. In addition, the company’s previous web hosting company had slow server response time and inconsistent technical support.
We re-created their website in WordPress, which gave the Company the ability to easily scale their site, and also provided them with enhanced online marketing capabilities. In addition, OptiWeb migrated the website to a new hosting provider, which improved page load time from 11-15 seconds per page to 4-5 seconds per page. The Company’s web server costs were also reduced by 50% per year. The site is developed in HTML, PHP, CSS and Flash.
Corporate and Multimedia Web Design
OptiWeb developed an online training platform for a stock trader, that features a video archive and an interactive chat room with audio / video conferencing capability. We created a custom website optimized in the delivery of audio and video content. We ensured that the media presented on the website would be delivered in an efficient manner, and enhanced the server load by splitting up the web platform between a traditional hosting provider and media server to deliver the A/V content.
